Our History: Barry Brenner and Mark Graff founded SmartEtailing in 1999 and launched the first websites, managed and controlled by retailers like you, in March 2000. Prior to starting this new company, each partner had acquired significant experience with specialty retailing and were (and remain) deeply committed to ensuring a bright future for this important channel of distribution.
In 2012, Quality Bicycle Products founders Steve Flagg and Mary Henrickson were so excited about the mission of SmartEtailing and its development of game-changing technologies, such as Supplier Sync, Supplier Fulfillment and Buy Local Now, that they became majority partners with Mark and Barry to help fund and encourage the larger growth opportunities ahead. These opportunities already benefit all specialty retailers in multiple industries and all suppliers that are committed to their success.
In May 2016, SmartEtailing merged with Harvest Retail Marketing, bringing cutting edge marketing services to the SmartEtailing platform and creating a launchpad for further innovation of SmartEtailing’s core website platform. Ryan Atkinson joined Steve and Mary as a partner in the business and moved the marketing company he founded in Omaha, NE to Boulder, CO.
